*update 10/8/18* Due to health reasons I had to stop all tile work for the past year because I had gotten very ill and had to have a liver transplant. I almost died to be honest. (No this was not from Alcohol). I had gotten my transplant the Sunday before Memorial Day. So I am still in the healing stages however I feel many times better. I can do small jobs and some larger jobs however I am not to lift very heavy objects for awhile. I cannot take on very stressful labor intensive jobs and risk my health. Unless I hire and arrange help.Only doing local jobs within 30 minutes of New Bern. Smaller jobs such as backsplashes, tub walls small floors are best for now. Compared to your more complex showers and large jobs. Showers which I am best at I can still do as long it is planned to where I can hire help. This can be discussed on phone or meeting in person before committing to any jobs with the customer. I no longer have my facebook page because when I was sick people kept calling me for work even thou I posted that I was out of it for the time being . I thought I was done with tile and wanted to make a change after surgery and recovery. My reputation was so good that people still insisted for me doing work. At the time to deal with my health and what could happen to me good or bad I shut the page down I tried to recover my FB page with all my reviews but it is gone. Feel free to call and I will answer all your questions. Thank you Scott Felts
Hello My name is Scott Felts, and I have been a ceramic tile and marble installer since 1987. I began learning the craft of ceramic tile and marble installation in South Florida from 3rd generation tile setters. I have always carried the same attitude with attention to quality and detail that they taught me to this day. I do not and will not cut corners and I do the job right the first time. I pride myself on quality not quantity. I do both commercial and residential ceramic tile and marble installations such as, but not limited to: bathrooms, kitchens, back splashes, walls and floors. If it involves ceramic tile or marble, that is what I do. I do not do carpet or vinyl composition tile. By only doing ceramic tile and marble, this allows me to focus more on the trade I know, and to do it well. Ceramic tile and marble is a craft and an art, it takes years of learning the skills that it takes to become a tile and marble installer.
This is what I have to offer:
Over 30 years experience of knowledge and skills of the trade, using what I have learned as well as keeping up with the latest technology and products. Giving you the customer my best advice in what works well for your situation. Quality of work. Up front and to the point estimates. Fair and reasonable prices.
Help with designing your project and tile selection. Most of all honesty. I stick by my word, when I say I'm going to be there by a certain date and time, that is when I will be there. If you need a good quality installation feel free to call me @ 252-349-1062 or feel free to email me [email protected]
